Touch-a-Recycling Truck & Craft at WEAVER 2pm In-Person
See how a REAL recycling truck works up close and make a craft using recycled materials.
Mega Disposal will be parking an actual recycling truck outside the library that you can look at, touch, and watch in action as it demonstrates grabbing a recycling bin and emptying it into the truck. You will also learn some fun facts about recycling in Rhode Island and play some recycling games.
After that there will be a craft component where you can use your creativity to make something out of recycled materials.
The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
