DESCRIPTION:Water Park Wednesday is weather dependent and may be canceled 
 if a full water ban* is in effect. Call the library at 401-710-7800 or 
 check our Facebook page for updates.\n\nBest for kids in grade 5 and under 
 with their families. Cool off and have fun with a variety of water play 
 stations set up on the Riverwalk such as a water park sprinkler\, a splash 
 pad\, water tables with toys\, squirt toys and more.\n\nDrop-in. No 
 registration needed.\n\nThis 2026 event is scheduled for Wed. June 24\, 
 July 8\, July 22 \n\n\nNote for Parents & Caregivers: While in the library 
 or attending library programs on the Riverwalk\, kids under age 10 are to 
 be accompanied by an adult or a responsible caregiver at least 13 years

 throughout the ongoing outdoor water ban. As many of you know\, drought 
 conditions have affected our region for much of the last year. According to 
 the latest Rhode Island drought maps\, 99% of the state is still classified 
 as “abnormally dry.”\n\nHowever\, after closely monitoring our water 
 production and remediating several wells\, CREW is implementing a change in 
 restrictions to allow some outdoor water use. Effective immediately\, we 
 will be moving from a full outdoor water ban to an even/odd day watering 
 schedule.\n\nWhat does this mean?\n\n\n	Even-numbered addresses may water 
 outdoors on even-numbered days of the month.\n	Odd-numbered addresses may 
 water outdoors on odd-numbered days of the month.\n\n\nThis change is a 
 balance between conserving water and providing some relief to our 
 customers. We will continue to monitor the drought conditions\, and if 
 rainfall improves\, we will reevaluate and aim to lift the outdoor water 
 ban completely.\n\nWe appreciate your understanding and continued efforts 
 in conserving water during these challenging times.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
