Curiosity Club: Who are the people who find dinosaur fossils? How do they do it? In-Person
This session's topic is dinosaur fossils! What do we call people who find fossils? How do they do it?
Curiosity Club is a family learning program where children and caregivers explore questions they’re genuinely curious about—together. Instead of following a preset curriculum, participants help shape the direction of the club by brainstorming topics they want to learn more about, then exploring those ideas over time.
The first session focused on asking big (and small!) questions and choosing our starting topics. In following sessions, families will share what they’ve discovered—through books, conversations, videos, or hands-on exploration—and then create something meaningful inspired by the topic using library-provided supplies.
This program is about:
Asking questions
Learning together
Creating and sharing
Valuing curiosity for its own sake
Curiosity Club is especially welcoming to homeschool families, but all families who love learning and exploring together are encouraged to join. No prior knowledge required—just curiosity.
